As a lifelong Star Wars fan, there was a lot riding on The Force Awakens. We fans suffered through the prequels, and getting a Star Wars movie that could stand alongside the original trilogy seemed too much to ask for. By some sort of miracle (a Christmas miracle?), Star Wars: The Force Awakens is exactly the Star Wars movie we wanted the prequels to be. And best of all, I don’t want to wait for the next one – I want more.
