News post – Catch-23 No. 848 Selfie stick

I’ve seen a few people using selfie sticks, a I wanted to find an angle to turn into a comic strip. This one seemed just stupid enough to work.

News post – Catch-23 No. 847 T’s & C’s

I’m breaking up the comic post and news post to hopefully work a bit better with this WordPress theme.

The Ashley Madison comic strip pretty much started with the line “cheaters never prosper” and formed from there. Here’s an article explaining the what and how of the hack and subsequent leak of personal data.

Catch-23 No. 846 Google Alphabet

Google’s parent company is now Alphabet for some reason. I’m sure it makes sense to someone.

Also Felicia Day (you may know her from The Guild, Buffy or Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog) wrote a book. It’s called You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost). I’m assuming since you’re reading this you’d be interested in the things Felicia talks about in her book, including her World of Warcraft addiction, making The Guild web series and founding the Geek & Sundry YouTube channel. You can and should buy the book and then you should read it.

Catch-23 No. 845 Kanye on The Verge

This is the article that Bagel’s referring to. My feeling is if President Obama takes time out of his busy day to call you a jackass, then you might just be a jackass. If you need a little more convincing, check out the top bits of advice Kanye had for Oxford University students earlier this year.

Catch-23 No. 844 Life hacks

I love me some life hacks. The site Lifehacker is a pretty good place to start. It’s good to always ask if you are doing something the best way possible, this is how we find better ways to do things. But sometimes, yes, you find out there’s a better way of peeling bananas but I can’t say the upside-down method of banana peeling has added any extra seconds to my day.
